Meet Brittany
Brittany is the owner and founder of Restore Pilates LLC. Brittany moved to San Antonio in 2006 where she attended Barbara Bush Middle School and Ronald Reagan High School. She went on to study Kinesiology with an emphasis in Motor Behavior at Texas A&M University in College Station. Brittany pursued graduate school at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Her passion for movement and the musculoskeletal system led her to pursue additional specialization early on in her career. Brittany graduated from the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at UT Southwestern and passed her specialty examination to become a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2020.
During her early years in practice as a physical therapist, Brittany developed a passion for the art and specificity behind exercise, leading her to complete a comprehensive training program through Polestar Pilates to become a Pilates Practitioner for Rehabilitation. With 5+ years of experience in clinical practice as a physical therapist, Brittany has experience in both the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She has utilized Pilates in her clinical practice, including both mat and equipment-based exercises.
Brittany’s goal is to provide others with a positive movement experience! She has a personal passion for movement and desires to share that passion with others. Brittany believes movement is a gift and a key element to experiencing life to the fullest. Through Restore Pilates, Brittany aims to help others find and restore a love for movement!
